TiE, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship, was started in Silicon Valley in 1992. Fifteen years later, TiE is a global organization with over 45 chapters and 10,000 members worldwide.

The TiE conference, designed for investors, entrepreneurs and multinationals, will bring together policy makers, experts, academics and global business leaders to examine the opportunities and challenges currently facing India with respect to the United States. The Real Estate panel will discuss "Building the Foundation for Growth," the Media Panel will look into "The Evolution of Media in India," while the Finance Panel will delve into "Investing in India's Infrastructure - Challenges and Opportunities," and the IT/Telecom Panel will discuss "Is Lack of Infrastructure a Challenge or an Opportunity?"

TiE Tri-State's previous annual events since 2003 have been resounding successes and featured speakers such as Kenneth I.
